I've had two lifelong loves:
art (all media) and ugly animals.

Not all of my art is about hideous or scary things, but it is something I like to come back to repeatedly in my work. Art is a way for me to expand empathy, and there isn't much that is more of an exercise in empathy than loving creatures who are alien to us in every way.

I live and work in Olympia, Washington and have many disgusting pets.
