I've had two lifelong loves:
art and ugly animals.

Not all of my art is about hideous or scary things, but it is something I like to come back to repeatedly in my work. Art is a way for me to expand my empathy, and there isn't much that is more of an exercise in empathy than loving creatures who are alien to me in every way.

I live and make things in Washington state.
